Back in the Day Party for Nas

Kelis threw a surprise birthday party for Nas last night at the Canal Room in New York City. It was full of old-school rap artists, many of who also performed. You can read more about it here. Apparently folks came dressed in their OG finest:

Many of those that filled the Canal Room wore their old school paraphernalia like Cazals, fat laces, jean suits, gold "dookie" ropes and other items.

For others, accessories were given to them by Adidas, Kangol and faux gold bamboo earrings, which were popular with the b-girls of the 80's.

Now those sound like some gift bags worth turning out for!
