The Escalating Shoe
Every year, New York Times magazine has an issue devoted to great design. This year's issue featured this "escalating shoe." It was designed by YWei-Chieh Tu, a graduate student in industrial design at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. The height of the shoe can be set at six different levels, ranging from zero to 38 degrees, by pushing a button. I think they're fun as all get out!
