Happy V-Day

Nike just sent me a "Happy Valentine's Day" card. Christ. How ugly is that? Some multi-national trying to boost its bottom line via "love." Anyway, if you follow Nike's email linkies, you arrive at a page that features three film shorts dedicated to the "love of sport." This particular short (it's the one in the middle--I can't link directly) really cracked me up cuz it was no doubt created by the child of a Nike executive, whose parent is dedicated to athletics, but is too busy traveling and "just doing it" for Nike that s/he barely sees her/his kid, much less spends any consistent time playing with him. But hey, the kid's got FANTASTIC sneakers!
